 Feature writing, photography, translation (English-Dutch and vica verca), camera work

• Self-employment insurance policy, which includes public liability cover
• Self employment tax status (confirmed on request)
• Freelance member of the union for journalism NUJ

Writer’s/ Photographer’s Terms:

• Articles are submitted on previous agreed deadlines on a first draft basis and subsequent final draft

• Articles and images include a credit where applicable. 

General Fees

Fees are based on the freelance fees’ guide of the National Union of Journalist; first-use only. Please refer to the NUJ website for freelance fees.

A basic fee for the first publication in the client’s magazine.

The journalist retains copyright and for extra rights, more should be charged, and any further publication would require reference to the by-line and extra payment. Further licences can be obtained for second use in electronic media: at 50% of the original payment.
